Every year, the biggest mammal in the world leaves the frozen Antarctica and swims to the Cape South Coast. The majestic Southern Right whales have chosen warmer climates for giving birth and they spend up to five months a year here, from June to October, playing, courting, and nursing their newborn calves. Peak calving season is July and August, but whales can be seen through September and October.

Being close to these giants is quite unusual, but seeing their majestic beauty from the sky, distinctly visible, without any interference for them, is absolutely unforgettable. There are few moments in life that can offer such a show in one tour.
